Responsum is made to support multiple regulations by it’s flexible nature. Any field in any sub-module can be assigned to one or more specific legislations to be shown or hidden when activated by a user.
In this article you will learn how to set this up so that users can select what legislations to see questions for.

Pre-requisites to get started
- Have access to “Meta data” (For configuring legislations)
- Have access to the “In detail customization” of a sub-module to make changes to it’s configuration
Fast-track to Brilliance
- Add legislations via Settings >> Customization >> Meta data >> “Active Legislations”
- Navigate to the sub-module for which you want to set certain properties to a legislation
- Open the in detail customization
- Select a default or custom field you want to link to a legislation
- In the sidepanel that opens, under “Category requirement”, select the legislation you want the field to be shown under
- Save the changes to the (custom) field
- Set legislations on your user via your profile
Step-by-step guidance
Add legislations
- Add legislations via Settings >> Customization >> Meta data >> “Active Legislations”
- Update existing legislation details or use the “Add one more item” to add new legislations
- Press “Save”
Set fields to be linked to a legislation
- Open the in detail customization
- Select a default or custom field you want to link to a legislation
- In the sidepanel that opens, under “Category requirement”, select the legislation you want the field to be shown under
- Save the changes to the (custom) field
Select one or more legislations for your user
- Navigate to your profile by pressing your avatar in the top right (Your initials)
- Select the “Pencil” icon next to the “No legislation selected”
- This will bring you to your user profile
- Update the “Active legislations” property with the legislations you want to display the earlier linked fields for
- Press “Save” to save your profile
